DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR OUR LOST BIRD - PLEASE HELP & SHARE! Our very loved family pet, Jimmy, escaped his cage this morning in Ogilvy St, Peakhurst, 2210. Appearance: He is a very bright yellow scaly-breasted lorikeet with a red/orange beak, and red underwings - visible only when he flies or stretches. He has a plain silver coloured band on his right ankle, but we don’t know the number. Size: He is the same size as rainbow lorikeets. Behaviour: He knows how to whistle loudly and says “Come here” in a deep voice - see video. Can be friendly or shy. Favourite food: Loves peeled apples, lorikeet powder (for example Shep’s Lori-Wet), and lorikeet fruit sticks. We are so upset that he has escaped and we are trying everything to bring him back!
