We are looking for our lost dog - she ran away today 18/08 at 3.30pm - and she was last seen running up the laneway into the bushes next to 13 Lansbury Close, Adamstown Heights. Twix is her name and she is a red short-haired 8 year old Cavoodle with white socks and a white tip on her tail. She is a rescue dog we have owned for 1 year. Because she was abused by her previous owner, Twix is skittish, scares easily and will run very quickly if pursued. She isn't dangerous at all and has never attacked anyone. She is very anxious and doesn't trust people, so despite multiple people trying to help by chasing her to catch her, chasing her just made her run faster. I notice that you are located nearby so I thought it would be good to reach out. If you or anyone see her, best to sit still on the ground, call her name, be quiet and wait till she comes to you. Sometimes having treats or food with you helps, but not often. She is microchipped, has a red collar, and a tag with her name and my phone number. You can also call April McCabe on 0413717919.
