Help Find Malcolm: Lost Moggy in Maribyrnong

Wild Cherry Street, 2, Maribyrnong City

Updated: Malcolm is still missing. Hoping that someone has seen him or has information. Central Animal Records has updated his microchip number with my contact info. Maribyrnong Council has flagged him as missing. Many thanks to those of you who have contacted me with support and suggestions. Malcolm is a domestic short-hair (moggy) 9 yrs of age, white with tabby on his head, back and tail. He is approx 6 kgs and is a large boy, but not overweight. He's quite timid with people, and, most of the time, will run away if you approach him. He went out in the evening (usual routine). He always comes home around 9 to 10 PM, and stays in for the night. I found his collar just outside the front garden the next morning, He is microchipped #900079000339066 and is registered/licenced with Maribyrnong Council #67255.

Sigh . The collar is worrying . Try to get surrounding neighbour camera footage … it could be a disgruntled neighbour taking matters into their own hands that are unhappy with cat curfews possibly being ignored. What I have found through other pages is that a pet off your property …. Well let’s just say people should contact the council but many haters are taking things into their own hands. I pray im wrong and wouldn’t have thought that except collar is there …. If you get him back . Please investigate a catio or oscillot and keep him in !. See full comment

I’d be pounding the pavement, calling out, shaking treats and especially late at night like 2am. See full comment
