Kovu hasn't been seen since Wednesday, 1st July 2026 and we're extremely worried about his welfare. He was staying at home, in Aspendale Gardens, with a trusted housesitter whilst we were away, and he's been looked after this way many times before without any issues. It's very unlike him not to come home. With this cold weather, it's even more concerning because he'd normally be inside somewhere warm and cosy. Kovu is a 7-year-old blue mink male Tonkinese, microchipped & desexed, not wearing a collar (he's an expert at taking them off!), & has a small skin tag on his right ear. He has bright pale blue eyes, grey points and a lighter grey body. He hasn't responded to our calls since arriving home. Please check sheds & garages. He could be locked inside, especially as it's school holidays, or injured and in hiding. He is extremely friendly, always perched on our letterbox greeting passers by, and always comes when he is called. This will be the first time he has not returned home at night. There is an abandoned house on Meagan Court in Aspendale Gardens where he once took shelter when sick. We have done our best to look around it, but no luck so far. Thank you so much for helping us bring our boy home. Even if it's not the news we're hoping to hear, we need to know.
