The baby bird displays a mix of vibrant yellow on its face, chest, and tail feathers, while its body feathers show a light blue or possibly "sky blue" hue. It has characteristic black, scalloped markings on its nape, back, and wings, which are diluted to a grayish color towards the lower back. Friendly and hand tamed
