Our much-loved bird Doechii escaped this morning, 26 September 2026, from Kokoda Street, North Ryde. Doechii is a 4-year-old female blue Quaker Parrot (Monk Parakeet), approximately the size of a lorikeet. - Colour: Blue/grey - Sex: Female - Age: 4 years - Microchipped: Yes - Leg band: No - Last seen: Kokoda Street, North Ryde – morning of 26/09/2026 She is a very loved pet and we are extremely keen to get her home safely. Please check your gardens, balconies, trees and yards, particularly around North Ryde and surrounding suburbs. A known escape artist, she has a knack for flying down onto middle aged mens' shoulders, in search of treats once she gets hungry.
